Nidia’s Note ∇

Beauty shouldn’t be confined to pop media. I needed to create every-day-wear that reflected my culture, my values, my ideas, my creativity. It started as a thought. Growing up, I didn’t have many people that I could look up to that looked like me. The beauty standards I grew up with did not reflect what I saw when I looked in the mirror. My features, my skin tone, my history were missing. I always said what if I could create something for girls like me, what if one day I could…

It started with a what if, then it took on a mind of it’s own. Both in my imagination and later (way later) in this 3-D plane. Even if it’s just one, I hope I inspire someone to look in the mirror and like what they see. They fabricate your imperfections because you are the envy of the world!
